Bearing support FF Ball screw – Dimensions and characteristics (free end)

The special bearing support of the FF ball screw serves to fix the screw from axial runout. The FF series propeller bearings are metal housings with a bearing inside. Supports of this series are designed for the free end of the ball screw screw, i.e. are holding and perceive only radial loads.
For CNC equipment, ball screw bearings of the following sizes are often used:
FF10, FF12, FF15, FF17, FF20, FF25, FF30, FF35, FF40.
All popular ball screw support sizes can be found in the table below.

The FF bearings have a standard radial bearing which has a minimum free play inside the bearing housing in the axial direction. At the same time, it securely fixes the ball screw from displacement in the radial direction.
